I have been attending Transformational Breathing Sessions for about five years now. Russell is an outstanding facilitator without a doubt. I’ve been going through a rather stressful time the past few weeks. During my last breathing session Russell seemed to pick up on this, he placed his fingers with a little pressure into my back. Well what happened next is a wee bit hard for even me a seasoned campaigner to believe. It felt like a surge of electricity powerfully running along my shoulder surging along the length of my arm and a huge release with my fingers tingling and shaking uncontrollably. I was gobsmacked. I also felt a whole lot better, so much more relaxed, more energetic and feeling so much happier. Words cant describe really. Wonderful.

I joined Edinburgh Breathes over a year ago and met Russell, who was leading the group sessions. He immediately put me at ease, he came over as very humble and appreciative man with amazing skills. During the Breath session he instinctively knows were the energy blockages are and helps to speed their removal. Wow!
Russell also ran a six day event in the Scottish Borders which I had attended. I had attended the same course in another area and this one was amazing in comparison. Russell has a way of getting everyone to feel relaxed and confident in his guidance. He is very open about his own issues which helps you to feel able to open up too. Russell is professional, supportive and very knowledgeable in Breathwork and I highly recommend him to you.

Breathwork, for me, is a way to process and overcome emotions that can sometimes have no words. I recently attended a group Transformational Breathwork session and found the meditation to be simple yet extremely profound.

I found the breathwork technique used helped surface emotions I had deliberately been overlooking and pushing away deep within. I had overcome a lot over the past few years and thought I had done most of my healing and felt I was well and truly past most of it, but found this meditation went super deep and brought awareness to an important issue I wasn’t able or didn’t want to see. This breathwork technique gave me much clarity, healing and peace with my emotions. It gave me the opportunity to be vulnerable, acknowledge and process my feelings in a way that I had to face them once and for all, whilst feeling totally comfortable with the process and not running from my feelings. I definitely felt a great release and benefit from the experience and can now move forward truly feeling free.

I would highly recommend Russell and his breathwork practice to anyone seeking to look a little deeper within. He is very tuned into his participants breathing and body language and knows exactly how to navigate them through their process in a caring and supportive manner. I will definitely be back to dive deeper and explore more of this amazing healing modality and highly recommend others to do so too.

I’d been wanting to find another meditative practice for comparison, after some beginners’ attempts at sensory deprivation floats. In conversation, Russ introduced me to his approach and it piqued my interest; seemingly aligned to my vague expectations of guided self-exploration, though I had little to no idea of what to expect.

My session gave me a chance to step aside and observe myself from a new angle. Contrasting to previous experiences of ‘letting go’ and finding nothingness, this approach encouraged me to BE in the present moment. I found this level of focus refreshing; the right balance of challenge and reward. I plan to use breathwork more regularly in my search for inner understanding.

I recently had a session of breath work with Russell Storey and I had no idea how much I needed it until I walked out the place feeling 1000 kgs lighter.

Breathwork is such a powerful way to tap in and reveal the bodies energetic configuration. Russell was particularly skilled at intervening in a way that was subtle yet effective.
